For its grand re-opening by Sir Peter Blake, the Holburne Museum in Bath commissioned Anna Glasbrook to create an alternative to the standard ribbon cutting ceremony. The portico of the museum was wrapped in purple fabric ‘zipped’ up the middle in the simple but effective style used for camel saddle bags in North Africa. Instead of cutting a ribbon, one pull unzipped the purple ‘corset’ creating a dramatic visual effect.
