Nominated for Champagne Perrier-Jouet Arts Salon Prize 2014

Anna Glasbrook - Nominated for Champagne Perrier-Jouet Arts Salon Prize 2014

I'm honoured and so excited to have been nominated for the prestigious Champagne Perrier-Jouet Arts Salon Prize 2014!

I've always loved the Perrier-Jouet bottle with it's iconic Art Nouveau flower decoration commissioned in 1902 by Art Nouveau protagonist Emile Gallé. For years I had a bottle (empty sadly!) sitting on my inspiration shelf.

The concept of the Perrier-Jouët Arts Salon stems from the origins of the Salons in Paris from the mid-1700s, bringing together like-minded people under the roof of an inspiring host. Similarly, the Perrier-Jouët Arts Salon members meet twice a year with two main aims. Firstly, to bring together a diverse and dynamic body of people from the Arts to share ideas and debate on developments in the Arts. Secondly, the Salon supports the selection of an annual prize winner who receives a substantial sum to support him/her in the development of their career.
